A Manifesto by Reiki Spark
You shared your light when you were young and tender. Maybe you showed someone what you made, or you simply loved something, and no one noticed. Or someone teased you for it. So you learned to be quiet, and you began to believe that nothing you do matters.
It does. You do.
I know, because I lived hidden and unseen for much of my life. I tried to show the people closest to me my gifts, and they did not want them. Some of that still shows up today. People I hope to be close to drift away, and I take it as a sign that something in me still wants my attention.
Here is what I have learned: it is okay if they do not see me. I am still Lynetta, and I love who I am. The sun does not need me to acknowledge it when it shines on me. The sun knows how great it is. I can learn a lot from the sun, and so can you.
I believe that when we are truly seen, we shine.
I believe we all need to belong. We look for our place. We find what is needed and we fill it, hoping that we will finally belong in our family, our community, or with the people we look up to.
I believe that when we touch the core of our being, our Essence, there is a deep peace that feels eternal. That part of us does not need anyone outside to confirm what we already know.
I believe we all need nature to nurture our Essence. I sit with the trees, and I feel at home. The more time I spend in nature, the more my creative genius flows through me.
When you work with me, you learn to look inward and meet every part of yourself. Every emotion and every shadow is embraced and acknowledged. Your judgments soften like frost on the first sunrise of spring. Your sunshine begins to brighten every space you enter. You step out of the cave and into the meadow, to be seen by the people you choose.
You do your inner child work. You heal what you inherited from your ancestors. You clean up the present. And you arrive with more Presence than you have ever had.
Right before you book, you may hesitate. Notice it. That hesitation is you stepping into the unknown, and the unknown is only scary because it is unknown. If you live looking in the rearview mirror, your past stays in your present. The unknown is the blank canvas before a masterpiece. It is the empty page before a best seller. It is the song before it is born through you.
Your genius is a spring deep within your Essence. When you touch it, something original is born into the world, something no one else can duplicate. It is in you right now, waiting. Together we dig down into the well until we strike it. That is what you came here to do.
The hesitation is you knowing you will be changed. Old identities fall away, and something new emerges from the void. Once you take the step, the process begins, and you start to feel more alive. Even one step toward your genius is invigorating.
So here is my invitation. Go out into nature, somewhere quiet. Ask yourself: What is the next step I can take that will show me my True Essence? Then pause. Wait for it. Whatever that step is, make the commitment to follow through. It may be with me, or it may not. Whatever it is, go for it.
Do not wait until your last breath to ask yourself: Did I live full out? Did I love with all of my heart? Did I express myself fully? Did I live from my Essence?
